Cecil Gilmore is a mortician who will pose your dead body as you were in life at Rock Hill, South Carolina’s Gilmore Mortuary for a small cost.

Gilmore says that people just can’t afford to bury loved ones because so many people are out of work.

“You don’t have to be over the hill to appreciate Cecil’s take on death,” says Gilmore.

The mortician says his services are a combination of formaldehyde and flair at a reasonable price in a deadly economy.

Gilmore only props the bodies with the consent of the family.

“It doesn’t cost you anything extra,” he said.

One of Gilmore’s unique jobs was remembering a man who passed away in Atlanta.

“Once he passed, he wanted to be remembered for basketball, ” says Gilmore. “So we sat him up, posed his arm…and put a ball in it and had him looking at a TV screen on the wall.”
