NBA Hall-of-Famer, and current TNT sports commentator, Charles Barkley is making headlines again, for some controversial comments about NBA fans. Barkley made the statements on Jim Rome’s radio show Thursday, saying he wishes he could ‘take out back and shoot’ about 20 percent of fans. USA Today reports:

You don’t want to get into Charles Barkley’s firing line.

That used to be meant figuratively. Now it seems it is also meant to be literal.

Appearing on Jim Rome’s radio show on Wednesday Barkley spoke about NBA fans:.

“Fans man. They love their team and their player. They don’t want to hear any criticisms. They just want you to be 100 percent for their team period. I think it’s only a small faction. I think 80 percent are great. Twenty percent, I wish you could take them out back and just shoot them.”
