Former American Idol star Fantasia is on record calling a recent R. Kelly performance “disrespectful.” Fantasia and Kelly were both booked to perform at the Blake Hotel in Charlotte. Kelly allegedly sang just a snippet of his classic song “Bump N’ Grind” and then quickly left the stage. Fans were upset and so was Fantasia, who had to follow his set.

TaleTela.com reports

The pair were booked in to appear at a CIAA party in Charlotte alongside producer Jermaine Dupri. However, when R Kells took to the stage, he only performed a small segment of his classic hit ‘Bump and Grind’ before leaving the stage for Fantasia to come on.

Fantasia was less than pleased with his so-called performance and didn’t hesitate in letting her feelings be known.

“I come to give you your money’s worth. I find that disrespect when things happen like that, especially in my city,” she told the crowd.
