Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes just landed a recurring role on the upcoming NBC sitcom, The New Normal. Glee producer Ryan Murphy gave the aspiring actress her role on this show about a mixed family. Who Got The Role reports on the story:

NeNe Leakes, who is already on the current season of Glee starring as cheer leading coach Roz Washington, has landed a big part on NBC sitcom The New Normal
The comedy pilot which is about a mixed family of a gay couple and a woman who’s going to give birth to their child. Leaks will play the recurring role of Rocky, the girlfriend of The Collective and attorney Darrell Miller.
