Kanye West is teaming up with his fellow “emo rapper” Kid Cudi for a music video shoot in the Middle East. The film, which is being made in the nation of Qatar, is said to be in the same vein as his “Runaway” video from the My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album. The Huffington Post has more:

Kanye West has been spotted filming a music video in the Middle East with fellow G.O.O.D. Music rapper Kid Cudi, THR reports.

The film — which was shooting in Qatar — is expected to be a short art piece akin to his 30-minute music video for “Runaway,” which served as the lead video off his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album. In February, reports first emerged that West was considering the region for his next video project and scouting possible locations and production partners in Qatar, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Since the project has been kept extremely under wraps, there’s no way to tell if West is filming a music video for his latest single “Way Too Cold.”
