A California teacher is accused of slapping her student in the face while reenacting a movie scene. Dionne Evans says her 9th grade English teacher, Jennifer Gonzalez, got upset after she didn’t turn in an assignment. Evans says Gonzales called her up to the front of the class, slapped her, and then began acting out one of the scenes from the movie Bridesmaids. KTLA reports:

A teacher at Malibu High School is accused of slapping a student several times, allegedly imitating a scene from the popular movie “Bridesmaids.”

Dionne Evans said her 9th grade English teacher, Jennifer Gonzalez, seemed upset on the day she picked upbinders for grades and Evans didn’t have hers.

Gonzalez called Evans up to the front of the class and asked if the student had seen the film “Bridesmaids.” She then began acting out one of the scenes, Evans said.

In the scene, one character is trying to “knock some sense” into her friend by hitting her in the head.
