NBC Washington – 75 year old Sawney Bell was walking on his way to work not far from his home in Northeast DC, when he was attacked by two dogs from the nearby tow yard. NBC Washington reports that the man suffered from a broken arm, and deep gashes. Linda Brown his daughter thanks her neighbors for their heroic actions as they came to the help of her screaming father.

Mike Johnson grabbed a baseball bat and another neighbor grabbed a shovel. Phil Ragland let his American Bulldog, Oliver loose, and chased the two dogs away. Now Brown is thanking her neighbors, especially Ragland, for what they did to save her father.
