Two-time Academy award winner Robert De Niro joins rapper and actor 50 Cent in Jessy Terrero’s latest action film “Freelancers.” 50 plays Malo, the son of a slain NYPD officer who joins the police academy. After graduating, he’s taken under the wings of his father’s former partner Captain Vic Sarcone played by De Niro. Malo rises through the ranks of the NYPD and he later becomes part of Sarcone’s rogue task force. The movie hits limited theaters on August 10th and blu ray/DVD a couple weeks later.
