Michael Clarke Duncan, the actor best known for his Oscar-nominated role alongside Tom Hanks in The Green Mile, reportedly suffered from cardiac arrest earlier today. TMZ reports that he remains in intensive care at an L.A. hospital.

Duncan’s girlfriend of 2 years, Omarosa Stallworth, was the first to discover the 6-foot-5-inch actor in his home. Duncan and Stallworth met and started dating after she was a contestant on The Apprentice.

Upon finding Duncan in distress, Stallworth called for help and performed CPR in an effort to resuscitate him. Reports are saying she was successful, and her quick action played a major role in 54-year-old Duncan’s survival.
