The late Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was preparing to leave LAX when a TMZ reporter asked “how’s your dad doing? I know he’s rising above it,” referring to her father, Bobby Brown, and his ongoing battle with alcohol. To which Bobbi Kristina replied, “‘Rise above’ is not the words you should use…not at all.”
New Edition singer Bobby Brown entered a rehab facility earlier this week to address his issues with alcohol.
Sources have told Radar Online that Brown’s decision to go to rehab was influenced by his lack of relationship with Bobbi Kristina. Brown allegedly started drinking heavily after ex-wife Whitney Houston’s death, and his drinking worsened after a fallout with Bobbi Kristina.
Bobbie Kristina was not present for Brown’s Hawaii wedding earlier this summer.
