Following the untimely death of iconic singer Whitney Houston, her family, including daughter Bobbi Kristina, was expected to inherit millions.

However, Cissy Houston, the late singer’s mother, is allegedly attempting to withhold Bobbi Kristina’s multi-million dollar inheritance.

Sources close to TMZ claim Cissy believes if Bobbi Kristina got a hold of her inheritance, negative influences currently in her life would threaten the fortune.

Bobbi’s father, troubled singer Bobby Brown, and her boyfriend/adoptive brother Nick Gordon are largely seen as the figures Cissy disapproves of.

It has not been reported how long Cissy would keep the large sum of money from her 19-year-old granddaughter.
