British singing sensation Adele is staying out of the spotlight these days as she prepares for the birth of her first child.

The 24-year-old superstar announced to fans via her website in June that she was pregnant with and her boyfriend Simon Konecki’s first child.

“She is just thrilled,” a source told People magazine about the songstress during an interview for its new cover story on stands this week. “She is totally laying low and nesting.”

The six-time Grammy Award winner has yet to begin work on a follow-up to her blockbuster album 21, but released the single “Skyfall” which is the theme song for the new James Bond movie on October 4th.

On Tuesday the singer walked away with the coveted Song of the Year trophy at the BMI awards in London for “Rolling in the Deep”.  The song remained on Billboard’s Hot 100 for 65 weeks.
