Daniel Craig may be a big screen tough guy — he plays James Bond after all — but he’s still a softie at heart.

In a recent Yahoo! News interview he admitted that Adele’s theme for the new 007 movie, Skyfall, left him in tears when he heard it for the first time.

“I cried,” said Craig. “From the opening bars I knew immediately, then the voice kicked in and it was exactly what I’d wanted front the beginning.”

“It just got better and better because it fitted the movie. In fact the more of the movie we made, the more it fitted it,” he added.

Adele’s track is currently ranked number 1 on iTunes and has even been covered by Willow Smith.

The eagerly awaited Skyfall hits theaters on November 7th.
