Oscar winner Halle Berry is reportedly seeking a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry following a highly-publicized domestic incident over the weekend where Aubry got into a physical altercation with Berry’s fiancé, Oliver Martinez, in her home.
According to the New York Daily News, the 46-year-old actress wants to extend a previous order which required that Aubry stay 100 yards away from her, Martinez and her 4-year-old daughter (with Aubry), Nahla.
Berry and Aubry had recently been involved in a very public, ugly custody battle over Nahla, during which allegations of Aubry’s racial prejudice surfaced and Berry reasserted her daughter’s blackness and her adherence to the “one drop rule.”
Aubry allegedly became violent on Thanksgiving in front of Nahla and got into a fight with Martinez which drew blood.
TMZ reports that Aubry snapped when Martinez told him, “We need to move on.” The gossip site claims that Aubry attempted to strike Martinez but was overpowed and that Unfaithful actor got the better of him in the fight.
