Grammy Award winning singers Alicia Keys and Stevie Wonder penned letters to a New Jersey judge on behalf of fellow Grammy winner Lauryn Hill, who plead guilty to tax evasion.

Hill has taken to her Tumblr to personally thank all those who penned letters to the judge.

While Keys and Wonder are the most notable names on the list, the others listed include fans from around the world.

Hill has been posting updates throughout the trial via Tumblr.  Earlier postings include one in which she confirmed, “yes, I am working on new music.”

Early this week Hill was sentenced to three months in prison and an additional three months in home confinement for failing to pay taxes on about $1 million in earnings.

It has not been released when or where the singer will report to serve her three month sentence.
