Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Popular Hot 97 radio personality and legendary DJ, Mister Cee has been arrested previously for soliciting male prostitutes.

In the past, each arrest was quickly brushed underneath the rug and Biggie’s former DJ always managed to keep his day job.

Unfortunately for him, it appears those times are now over.

theGrio: The hip-hop closet and the shaming of Mister Cee

A YouTube surfaced from an openly gay man and self-proclaimed cross dresser, alleging that he had a recent sexual encounter with Cee. While the accuser, who goes by the name of BimboWineHouseTV, doesn’t specifically refer to Cee by his name, at the end of the video you can clearly hear a man saying “Goodbye DJ Mister.Cee”.

The YouTube video immediately went viral and Twitter erupted. Mister Cee hasn’t released an official statement, but his co-worker and fellow Hot 97 personality Miss Info confirmed via Twitter that “The Finisher” has resigned from Hot 97.

Alexandra Cameron the general manger of Hot 97 eventually released this statement: “Due to some personal circumstances that have become public, after 20 years of service, Mr Cee has chosen to resign.  We feel that this is in the best interest of both HOT 97 and Cee’s personal well-being. While we do not endorse the alleged activities, he is clearly facing a personal dilemma that is for him and only him to comment on. We are saddened by his departure; his contributions here at HOT 97 were great and we know him as a friend, a caring individual and significant hip hop advocate. We wish Mr Cee the best and will always consider him a family member of HOT 97.”

“Moments ago, he officially signed off, on the air and will finish out his last show today on September 11, 2013, an already sad day for New York City,” she added.
