Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

In preparation for her third studio album, ARTPOP, Lady Gaga tweeted she’ll be releasing a new track every week until its release date.

The first is an unlikely duet with legendary crooner R.Kelly.

“Do What You Want” is an 80’s new-wave-inspired song that have the Chicago singer and pop singer trading verses about being submissive to their lover.

The upbeat pop track is a departure from R.Kelly’s current rap-sing style of R&B, but his track record for crossover success is noteworthy.

His collaborations with Celine Dion for her hit “I’m Your Angel” and Gospel icon Kirk Franklin’s “Lean On Me” were both Billboard number 1’s.

R.Kelly’s upcoming twelfth studio, Black Panties, is scheduled to be released December 10, 2013.
