Some believe there’s a good chance Andre 3000 and Big Boi will join forces again in 2014.
A report in Billboard claims the Atlanta hip-hop duo are in negotiations to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival which kicks off on April 11, 2014. This would be the first time the southern rap pioneers would be working together since their 2007 album Idlewild.
Big Boi has hinted multiple times that there could be an Outkast reunion in the future, while Andre 3000 has long denied the rumors and continued to focus on his acting career.
There were also rumblings as early as 2012 that fans would hear Outkast together on the remix to Frank Ocean’s “Pink Matter” — but unfortunately that never happened.
