Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

R. Kelly is poised to make a big splash in the next few weeks.

He’s already scored a hit new single with his Lady Gaga duet “Do What U Want” and he is about to unveil his eagerly anticipated return to raunch: Black Panties.

The self-proclaimed “Pied Piper of R&B” recently sat down with theGrio to preview his upcoming music.

“Everywhere I go it’s ‘when are you going to come back with another 12 Play, when are you going to come back with the sexual R. Kelly’ — so, this is it,” he said.

If the newly released album artwork is any indication, he will be delivering on his promise, for better or worse:

The album is due to hit stores on December 10th, just in time for the holidays.
