The singer just revealed via Twitter that she and boyfriend Evan Ross got engaged while on vacation in Hawaii.
“My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!! Hallelujah Hawaii !!!!!” Ashlee tweeted this afternoon. (The nod to the Supremes song “Baby Love,” sung by Evan’s mom, Diana Ross, didnot go unnoticed.)
This will be the second trip down the aisle for Ashlee, 29, who was previously married toFall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, dad to her young son Bronx.
For someone who hadn’t tweeted since November, she sure packed a wallop in that one!
Jessica Simpson‘s newly betrothed little sister also posted a photo that provided a bird’s-eye view of her ring, a marquise-cut diamond in what looks to be a vintage (or vintage-inspired) setting that mirrors the shape of the diamond.
Ashlee and Evan, 25, were first photographed together back in July and have been near-inseparable ever since.
