Preparations are under way for Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday party, which promises to be one of the hottest (and hardest to snag) invites of the social scene in D.C.

The birthday greetings were already pouring in Friday on Twitter, including from a host of celebs. The big question is, how much star power might there be at the MObama bash?

A source tells theGrio the party on Saturday night at the White House will be a dance party — since the first lady loves to get her dance on, as Jimmy Fallon and the world discovered last year. But the big rumor is that Jay Z and Beyoncé will be in attendance, either as guests or performers. Other rumors suggest a possible performance by Adele.
