MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Police and FBI investigators converged on a Memphis, Tennessee hotel Tuesday after the reported sighting of a missing 2-year-old Mississippi girl.
At least three people reported seeing who they believed was missing Myra Lewis. Police say a motel worker reported seeing a man with the little girl.
Myra has been missing since Saturday, March 1 after her mother said she went grocery shopping.
She went missing out of Camden, Missippi in Madison County. The FBI expanded the search for her to the Memphis area Monday night. A $20,000 reward is now being offered in the case.
Investigators have not found the little girl as of Tuesday evening, and the reported sighting is now in the hands of the FBI. The FBI released the following statement:
“We are following up on any reported sightings. If anything develops we will get that info out.”
