Mariah Carey has vocal struggles during Japan concert

Mariah Carey seems to have suffered a vocal breakdown during her Saturday performance in Japan.  The diva launched her “Elusive Chanteuse World Tour” in Tokyo. Painful YouTube videos have surfaced of the Carey trying to perform one of her hit songs “Always Be My Baby.”

Carey is known for her vocal range and ability to hit the high notes, however that was not apparent during her performance this weekend.

Another video appears to show Mariah forgetting the lyrics to “We Belong Together” — although it could have been the microphone. She’s stops the performance to ditch the mic.

Let’s hope these are just jitters that she can work through as the tour progresses.
