Nene leakes is “keeping it 100” as she promotes the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
In an interview yesterday with Extra correspondent, Tracy Edmonds, Leakes discussed rumors surrounding how much she is paid to be an Atlanta housewife.
This week, numerous reports surfaced that Leakes has become the highest paid reality star, raking in $1.5 million per season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Leakes responded to salary reports, saying she’s paid much more than $1.5 million.
“I was not offered $1.5, let’s be clear, yeah, it’s a lot nicer than that,” she told Edmonds.
Leakes, who’s currently promoting her appearance on season 7 of RHOA says, she might not return for another season.
“I don’t know if I want to come back or not. This is my 7th season. I’m the ‘OG’ of the Atlanta Housewives … the only original girl standing. You have to grow up at some point in your career. And I don’t want to be bickering and arguing and snatching weaves every single day. It just doesn’t make me feel good.”
The RHOA star also commented on rumors that she might be replacing Joan Rivers on E!’s Fashion Police:
I have to say Joan is irreplaceable, we all love her, she’s fantastic, she’s given me some amazing advice about my career, I love Joan…. If the opportunity comes it’s a possibility I might, I might not…. I’m a fashion designer, love fashion and I don’t mind giving you a good read every now and then … so it may not be a bad place for me to be.
