Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey of the Atlanta Housewives wore surgical face masks during a recent international flight, seemingly in light of the Ebola epidemic.

The pair posted photos to their Instagram accounts yesterday morning wearing surgical masks before flying overseas to an unknown location to finish filming for season 7 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

The show’s producer Carlos King was flying with the reality stars and reacted to Burruss and Bailey wearing surgical masks saying, “Traveling with these two…clearly their scurrred of catching that danger!”

Burruss was the first to add the surgical masks to a full face of glam makeup, remarking, “I’m not taking any chances! Thanks Dr. @jingjingharris for my mask! I won’t be instagramming for a while. I’ll miss you guys!”

“Better safe than sorry,” Cynthia wrote accompanying a picture of herself wearing a surgical mask.

The Atlanta peaches received criticism from some of their social media followers for wearing the face masks, because the Ebola virus is not airborne.
