Bob Marley will be the face of “Marley’s Naturals,” the world’s first globally available marijuana brand.

Thirty-three years after the famous reggae artist — and well-known marijuana user and advocate — passed away in 1981, the Marley Family has partnered with a Seattle equity firm to bring “a premium cannabis brand rooted in the life and legacy” of the musician.

The line-up will not be limited to raw cannabis; it will also include oils, creams and other marijuana-infused products. The products are set to roll-out in areas where marijuana has been legalized in late-2015.

The CEO of the company that owns Marley’s Naturals indicated that the brand will continue Marley’s vision and legacy. Brendan Kennedy said, “Bob Marley started to push for legalization more than 50 years ago. We’re going to help him finish it…. We’re committed to social change, environmental sustainability and building a professional, responsible and legal cannabis industry.”

Kennedy’s private equity company, Privateer Holding, only invests in the cannabis industry, according to CNN Money.

An advertisement announcing the introduction of the brand was also released on YouTube.

Despite being dead for over three decades, Marley’s estate generates more than $20 million in annual revenue, placing him ninth on Forbes’ top-earning dead celebrities list.

Marley’s daughter Cedella Marley said, “My dad would be so happy to see people understanding the healing power of the herb.”

Currently four states and Washington D.C. have legalized the recreational use of marijuana.
