Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Celebrity restaurateur and former model B. Smith went missing at about 11 p.m. Tuesday, according to her husband Dan Gasby.

Smith, 65, had last been seen in Southampton, New York.

According to MyFoxNY, “Smith took a jitney from New York City to Sag Harbor where the couple has a home and got off in Southampton. She was wearing a blue sweater, pink shirt, jeans and black sneakers.”

After hours of searching, Smith was found today in a diner in Manhattan, CBS News and ABC News confirms.

Smith revealed earlier this year that she is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

The legendary cook owns several restaurants in Manhattan’s restaurant row as well as in Sag Harbor.

As cited on Smith’s website, she was the first black woman to grace the cover of Mademoiselle in July 1976. She also was the host of B. Smith With Style, a nationally syndicated talk show that aired in the mid 1990s on NBC stations across the country, including NBC 4 New York.
