Memphis Grizzlies chip in to replace intern's stolen car with new one

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

The Memphis Grizzlies just might be one of the coolest teams in the NBA. One of the team’s intern named Brandon recently had his car stolen and the players decided to chip in and get him a brand new one.

The team decided to surprise him with the good news and they captured his reaction on a video they posted on the team’s Facebook page. The video begins with Vince Carter explaining how Brandon ” had a tough time” because he had his car stolen.

“Everybody chipped in for him for Christmas, you know, it’s the holiday season of giving. That’s what we want to do.”

The car rolls up and Brandon is begins smiling and hugging the players. “He’s trying to hold back the tears right now, but, hey, he should cry,” Carter smiles.
