Will Smith told reporters he was recently in the recording studio with Kanye West.
During a red carpet appearance in London for his upcoming film Focus, the 46-year-old actor told On Demand Entertainment he “may have gotten inspired again.”
“I went into the studio a few months ago with Kanye,” Smith said.
It’s been 10 years since Smith put out new music. The actor hasn’t released an album since 2005’s Lost and Found.
According to The Guardian, Smith also noted he was taking advice from his 16-year-old son, Jaden Smith.
“I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet but I’m exploring,” said Smith. “I’m in a creative ceiling. My son tells me I have to write out the things I don’t like. I can’t write and stop, I have to keep going and going and write them out. I’ve never worked like that before but I think I might give that a shot.”
