The upcoming second season of Bravo’s Blood, Sweat & Heels is going to pack an emotional punch.

Daisy Lewellyn takes viewers along for her journey as she battles stage 3 bile duct cancer.

“I was doing press for season one and my makeup artists noticed that my eyes had this crazy green color,” Daisy told OK! Magazine. “I assumed I was just tired – but it turned out I had a tumor in my bile duct. It’s super rare.”

In an interview with theGrio, Daisy opens up about her cancer diagnosis and how she had to courage to allow cameras to capture it all.

“You hear cancer and it’s crazy and an unfortunate thing, but you never really expect it to sit right in your lap, and it sat in my lap,” she said.

“Honestly, it’s probably been the toughest thing I have ever dealt with in my entire life, but I do think it’s been the most rewarding, because it’s just really shown me how strong I am.”

The latest season of Blood, Sweat & Heels wrapped up filming last year, and Daisy says viewers will see her complete journey of cancer treatment.

“You’re going to see on the show my diagnosis from A-Z in terms of cancer. I haven’t beat it; I just completed my treatments. Cancer is very interesting because you get hit with this news, and I think everyone is just so eager to get to that ‘you are done.’ For me, I can’t really focus on doctors saying, ‘Daisy you are cancer free,’ because I would suffocate. I have to celebrate every single day. I believe in celebrating as I go along.”

Tune in for the premiere of Blood, Sweat & Heels season 2, Sunday at 9/8c.
