Google, Facebook and Twitter have released their diversity numbers, and the gap is even wider than originally thought.

With a total of 758 black employees across all three companies, African-Americans make up only less than two percent of the entire workforce of these three tech giants.

Rev. Jesse Jackson went to Google’s shareholder meeting to express concern and disappointment in May over the diversity numbers, especially because Google’s share of African-American workers has not changed since last year.

“I am very disappointed,” Jackson told The Guardian. “We are becoming intolerant with these numbers. There’s a big gap between their talk and their implementation.”

The New York Daily News notes the low diversity numbers are especially troubling for Twitter, given its large black audience. According to the Pew Research Center, 27 percent of black adults use Twitter, compared to only 21 percent of white adults.
