One adorable eight-year-old boy was about to get exactly what he wanted for his birthday… but first, his mom decided to have a little fun.

In the October 2014 video, Ja’Myron Baker’s mother Marj set up a hidden camera so that she could properly prank her son on his birthday. In the video that has just recently gone viral, Marj accuses her son of shopping online as she held the package containing his present.

“What is this? Have you been ordering something off the internet, off the TV?” she demanded of little Ja’Myron.

As the confused little boy insisted that he had not ordered anything, Marj sneaked a little grin at the camera before continuing, “This says shipped to Ja’Myron Baker!”

She then demanded that he confess to what he did and open the package, and Ja’Myron quietly muttered “No I didn’t” as he worked to get the envelope open.

When he finally got to the contents of the package and saw the iPod Touch, he was a bit confused. Then, spotting the note, he read: “Happy 8th birthday. Love, Mom.”

When he realized that the package was a birthday present, he screamed with delight. “No way!” he shouted, obviously pleased with his brand new iPod.

Marj then hugged her son, who seemed to be just fine with having been pranked on camera for his birthday, given the present he got out of it!

The now viral video has garnered nearly 3 million views as of the morning of July 6.
