Taraji P. Henson has skyrocketed to meteoric success, thanks largely to her role as Cookie in Empire. And while that’s great for her career and her pocketbook, it has definitely put a damper in her dating life.
“I think the more successful you get, the more intimidated [men] get, because they feel like they can’t approach me,” the 44-year-old actress said, reports Entertainment Tonight. “Or they’re afraid to approach me.”
But for Henson, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. She’s still looking for her Prince Charming, but in the meantime, she’s using her not-dating life to get the time to relax, something that she has learned the hard way to put into practice.
In June, Henson was hospitalized for exhaustion after pushing herself too hard for too long, and she posted online from her hospital bed.

Now, when Henson has some time off, she says she uses it for relaxing.
“When I have days off, I just don’t do anything,” she said. “I stay home. I have things delivered, and I just chill.”
