Thursday, the Metropolitan Police Department announced that it would be conducting a “series” of new searches for Relisha Rudd.

Rudd disappeared back in March of 2014 and was last seen with Khalil Tatum, who worked as a janitor at the homeless shelter where Rudd lived with her family.

About a month after Rudd went missing, Tatum allegedly killed himself and his wife.

Unfortunately, Thursday’s series of searches reportedly yielded no new evidence related to Rudd’s disappearance.

A spokesperson for the FBI released a statement to WUSA:

The FBI Washington Field Office continues to assist the Metropolitan Police Department with the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Relisha Rudd.  From the start of this investigation, we have provided our partners resources to aid their efforts and we will do so until she is found. One of the FBI’s top priorities is protecting children from violent crimes and we remain committed to finding Relisha or any child that goes missing.
