Jennifer Lawrence has been outspoken about her frustrations with how Hollywood treats male and female actors differently when it comes to pay.

Comedian Chris Rock has a different take: Hey Jennifer, try being a black female actress.

“Black women have the hardest gig in show business,” Rock says in a new New Yorker profile on comedian Leslie Jones. “You hear Jennifer Lawrence complaining about getting paid less because she’s a woman – if she was black, she’d really have something to complain about.”

Rock was referring to, in part, Lawrence’s essay on the matter  “Why Do I Make Less Than My Male Co-Stars?
