Jagged Edge singer Kyle Norman opens up about brutally attacking his wife and getting arrested earlier this year..
Jagged Edge’s Kyle Norman was arrested last January on charges of domestic assault after he attacked his then-fiancee Marikka Norman, blackening her eye, choking her, and attempting to shove the engagement ring down her throat.
Marikka had to undergo several surgeries after the attack, but the two stayed together and went through with their wedding, and she is confident that there will never be another attack like that.
However, many of the people telling Marikka to leave were her own friends and family, as she explained to Steve Harvey on his talk show. “It cost me my career. It cost me relationships with my family, close friends, of course my father,” she said, admitting that she lied and told everyone that she would never see Kyle again.
During the interview, Kyle promised never to repeat that night, saying, “The monster that night? You will never see him.”
“I’m Kyle, Kyle made a mistake,” he said with tears in his eyes. “But I gotta continue to be a better person. We all seem to fall short of the glory of God. You know…I’m human.”
