The artist, who passed away on Thursday, performed the iconic song on the piano during his performance last week before being hospitalized the next day.
While it is likely that this is the last time Prince performed “Purple Rain,” he also reportedly threw a party at Paisley Park two days after being hospitalized, so whether or not this is actually his final performance will likely remain a mystery.
