Lauryn Hill hit with $438,000 Tax Lien

The state of New Jersey has hit Lauryn Hill with a tax lien, claiming that she owes over $400,000 in taxes.

According to Bossip, Hill was served with the lien on June 30 and owes $438,221.

For Hill, this is not the first time tax problems have hit. In 2014, she served six months in federal prison for tax evasion after she failed to pay $1 million in back taxes, and after she served her time, she was hit again with another tax lien of almost $900,000.

Only time will tell if Hill is able to get her finances together in time to avoid another tax evasion stint.
