Kanye West breaks Michael Jackson’s record with his 40th Top 40 hit
Kanye West has officially passed Michael Jackson’s record for the most Top 40 hits.
As soon as his collaboration with Schoolboy Q on “THat Part” hit number 40 on Billboard’s Top 40, West has 40 Top 40 hits and has therefore passed Michael Jackson in the rankings. He is now tenth in the rankings of male artists when it comes to Top 40 hits.
The other artists in the top ten are: Elvis Presley (80), Lil Wayne (69), Elton John (57), Drake, (53), Stevie Wonder (46), Jay Z (45), James Brown (44), Chris Brown (42), and Marvin Gaye (41).
