Brianna Rollins led an American sweep in the women’s 100m hurdles earlier this week at Rio. Along with her winning teammates Nia Ali and Kristi Castlin, the black olympian trio set off a wave of #blackgirlmagic tweets and viral-ready photos posing with the American flag.

When Rollins received her gold during the medal ceremony, the 25-year-old Miami native proclaimed happily, “Black girls rock!”

Rollins was apparently prompted by the Rio Olympics official who gave her the medal. The woman sounded like told Rollins that “black girls rock” and then Rollins seemed more than happy to repeat it back.

“Black girls rock, they do…yes!” Rollins replied.
