Jay Z is producing a show about the Army’s first African-American sniper.

Nicholas Irving, who became the US Army 3rd Ranger Battalion’s deadliest sniper and who was nicknamed “the Reaper,” will be played by Sterling K. Brown. Irving once totaled 33 kills in a four-month period in 2009, truly living up to his nickname.

The series will draw from Irving’s 2015 memoir, “The Reaper: Autobiography of One of the Deadliest Special Ops Snipers.”

According to a Page Six source, “The series will take a look inside the life of the world of special ops. The plan is to start filming early next year.”
