Lifetime aired Michel’le’s biopic Surviving Compton on Saturday night despite Dr. Dre’s threat that he would sue if the biopic aired.

The biopic, Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le, which puts Michel’le back in the narrative that she was left out of in the blockbuster film, Straight Outta Compton, also shines a spotlight on the domestic abuse that Michel’le has long said she was subjected to at the hands of Dr. Dre.

Dr. Dre threatens to sue over Michel’le TV movie 

While the biopic aired, the Internet, especially Twitter, exploded as they took Dre to task for his woman-beating ways. A few people even said that they would stop supporting Dre because of what they saw.
