As part of a negotiated plea deal, Katt Williams has reportedly been banned from two counties in Georgia after multiple run-ins with the police.

On Thursday, the comedian pleaded no contest to charges in connection with the alleged assault of his bodyguard, Corey Dixon, in February.

“It’s our understanding that Mr. Williams was encouraging our victim, Mr. Dixon, to engage in some criminal activity in the Atlanta area,” former Hall sheriff’s spokeswoman Nicole Bailes said of the alleged assault on Dixon.

As part of the plea deal Williams struck, the comedian was banned from Hall and Dawson counties and ordered to pay $7,500 in restitution. He will also be required to complete 100 hours of community service, according to District Attorney Ray Mayer. Additionally, Williams will be on probation for five years. In exchange for this, the aggravated assault and firearm possession charges were dismissed, and the imprisonment and terroristic threats charges were reduced to charges of simple assault.

It was not immediately clear what would happen to Williams’ home, as he is a Hall county resident, nor was it clear why the ban was extended to Dawson County in addition to Hall County.
