Bill Clinton says Trump won because of ‘angry white men’

Former President Bill Clinton said Donald Trump won the election because he knew "how to get angry, white men to vote for him."

During an interview with The Record-Review, former President Bill Clinton said Donald Trump won the election because he knew “how to get angry, white men to vote for him.”

The Record-Review is a weekly paper that serves several towns in Westchester County, which is where the Clintons live.

During the interview, Clinton was blunt about the factors he feels played a part in his wife’s defeat.

One of the top items on his list was the Russian hack into the emails of the DNC as well as Hillary Clinton’s top aide, John Podesta. He says, “You would need to have a single-digit IQ not to recognize what was going on.”

He also laid out how Comey’s decision to reopen the email probe just a week before people headed to the polls damaged Hillary’s campaign.

“James Comey lost her the election,” Bill Clinton told the interviewer, who had run into Clinton at a local bookstore.

When speaking of President-elect Trump, Clinton said the man “doesn’t know much.”

“One thing he does know is how to get angry, white men to vote for him,” Clinton stated.
