Octavia Spencer bought out every ticket to a Los Angeles showing of Hidden Figures so that low-income families would be able to see the film.

“My mom would not have been able to afford to take me and my siblings. So, I’m honoring her and all single parents this #mlkweekend,” Spencer announced on Instagram, telling the world about the screening on Friday at the Rave Baldwin Hills theater.

“If you know a family in need that would like to see our movie but can’t afford it have them come,” she added. “It’s first come first served.”

Hidden Figures has been the highest-grossest film at the box office for the past two weekends, beating out the Star Wars movie Rogue One for the top spot.
