Last week, Steve Harvey made an offensive joke about Asian men, and he is now apologizing for he joke on Twitter.
He took to the social media site on Tuesday to say, “Wanted to share this today,” before going on to show an apology he had written on the Notes app: “I offer my humblest apology for offending anyone, particularly those in the Asian community, last week. It was not my intention and the humor was not meant with any malice or disrespect whatsoever.”
Last week, Harvey made the tasteless joke when joking about self-help books, specifically one that he had seen called How to Date White Women: A Practical Guide for Asian Men. He said in his comedy routine that white women didn’t want to date Asian men, and neither did black women.
