Trump’s WhiteHouse.Gov axes civil rights, climate change, LGBT rights

As soon as Donald Trump was sworn in as the President of the United States, the whitehouse.gov website changed drastically.

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

As soon as Donald Trump was sworn in as the President of the United States, the whitehouse.gov website changed drastically.

The “issues” section in particular changed entirely, with pages for LGBT rights, civil rights, climate change, and health care completely wiped from the site.

The climate change page was replaced with a page called “An America First Energy Plan” that asserts, “President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule.”

In foreign policy, referred to as “America First Foreign Policy,” there is no mention of Russia or China. The focus is instead on ISIS and the renegotiation of NAFTA: “If our partners refuse a renegotiation that gives American workers a fair deal, then the President will give notice of the United States’ intent to withdraw from NAFTA.”

Instead of a page on civil rights, there is now a page called “Standing Up For Our Law Enforcement Community” calling for more police officers and claiming that “in our nation’s capital, killings have risen by 50 percent,” despite the fact that homicides have dropped in Washington D.C. from 2015 to 2016.

For some reason, there is no page whatsoever on his biggest campaign issue: immigration.
