Kim Kardashian ‘mentally prepped’ for rape during Paris robbery
During an airing of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Kim Kardashian opened up about her frightening hotel robbery in Paris.
On Sunday night’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian opened up about the Paris robbery in October of last year in which two robbers wearing police officers held a gun to her head and robbed her of her jewelry.
Prior to the episode airing, Kardashian took to social media with an open letter about the incident:
Tonight’s episode is going to be very tough for me. However, I thought it was important to share this story through my eyes & not in an interview where my own words could be twisted. I have always shared so much & I’m not going to hold back when this was probably one of the most life changing experiences for me. I would never wish this experience upon anyone, but have learned some valuable lessons & feel so blessed to be safe home with my babies & husband. To my friends, family, and loved ones I can’t thank you enough for being there when I needed you the most. During the episode, Kardashian discussed how she had “mentally prepped” for rape, especially when one of the robbers duct-taped her mouth and grabbed her by the legs while she was in bed. She was not raped but did have a gun to her head, and the robbers carried her to the bathtub before they left.
