Usher has responded to the $20 million lawsuit filed against him by a woman claiming that he exposed her to herpes, saying that she has no proof that he gave her any disease.

He claims that there was no proof that she had been tested prior to their relationship, so she had no proof that she was not already infected.

“A previous sexual partner very well may have already infected her,” TMZ reported Usher saying in legal documents.

What’s more, she could also have contracted herpes after her encounter with him, he said.

He added that she was the one who took the risk of contracting an STD by engaging in “casual, unprotected sexual intercourse and/or oral sex.”

What’s more, he attacked her for filing the suit anonymously, saying that she had no reason to hide if she was telling the truth.
