Jill Scott is adding her voice to the dozens of others coming out against Harvey Weinstein in the wake of the sexual assault and harassment charges being leveled against him.

On Friday morning, Scott took to Twitter to tell her story. She said that she was not assaulted, but she had steered clear of Weinstein since the moment she met him after he made derogatory comments about her pregnancy.

“When I met Harvey Weinstein, he was RUDE,” she recalled. “In the NASTIEST tone he said, ‘Who told you to get pregnant?!’ And rolled his eyes in disgust.”

She went on to say that she never had to deal with Weinstein because that first impression had left such a bad taste in her mouth.

“I stayed away from him after. Who acts that way towards a pregnant woman??” she wrote. “Power to all the women bullied by a**holes. Power in general.”

Scott adds her voice to so many women who have detailed their experiences with Weinstein, including Lupita Nyong’o, who opened up about her experience in the New York Times when she was a young actress and Weinstein had requested a massage in the bedroom of his house while his kids were downstairs.
